Terms and Conditions
All customers purchasing a ticket from Toy Toon are bound by the following terms and conditions.
1. Tickets
1.1 Parents and carers hold sole responsibility for their children during play sessions. Toy Toon and its staff are not responsible for the supervision of children during this time. The purchase of a child ticket entitles the bearer to a 90-minute play session during one of our allotted time slots. All adults must purchase their own relevant ticket.
1.2 Ticket prices are listed in GBP and are inclusive of VAT. Prices may change at any time, and we reserve the right to correct any pricing errors after booking.
1.3 Ticket prices include admission only. Food and drink must be purchased separately. Special events may have food or drink included in the ticket price; this will be stated on the advert for each event.
1.4 Tickets must be pre-booked online. Admission may be refused without a ticket. Toy Toon reserves the right to refuse entry if additional guests are brought along and have no pre-booked.
1.5 All customers will receive an email confirmation which constitutes as proof of purchase. Please check you have received this email following purchase. Proof of purchase is required to gain entry to Toy Toon.
1.6 All tickets are non-refundable. Requests to transfer your booking to another session may be made pending availability, however if you do not provide us with the minimum of 24 hours’ notice, we are unable to do this. Partial refunds may be given, minus a processing fee, if swapping from an event to a regular play session.
1.7 In the event that Toy Toon is unable to open due to circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to cancel bookings and issue full refunds.
2. Play Sessions
2.1 Toy Toon operates 3-4 sessions daily, 4 days a week. We reserve the right to operate additional and fewer days due to staff availability.
2.2 Visitors to Toy Toon must arrive no more than 5 minutes prior to the start of their session. Visitors must leave promptly at the end of their 90-minute session.
2.3 Toy Toon will close for 30 minutes between sessions to allow for cleaning and to reset. No customers will be permitted entry during this time.
2.4 All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18 years or over.
2.5 The front door of Toy Toon will be locked by a member of staff at the beginning of each session. Toy Toon will not be held responsible if any customer unlocks the door and leaves it unlocked during any session. Please do not let anyone in without informing a member of staff.
2.6 At least one adult from each table will be notified that the door is being unlocked 10/15 minutes before the end of each session.
3. Rules of Play
3.1 Toy Toon operates a no shoe policy therefore visitors must remove their shoes and wear socks while in the building.
3.2 Toy Toon reserves the right to refuse entry or ask visitors to leave if they do not abide by Toy Toon’s rules of play. Bullying, fighting, aggressive behaviour and abusive language aimed at other visitors or staff will not be tolerated. The offending party will be asked to leave, no refund will be given and they will be banned from any future entry.
3.3 Any child or adult who causes intentional damage to any fixtures or fittings will be liable to pay for the damage caused.
3.4 To prevent the spread of infection, we ask that visitors who are unwell or have been unwell within 72 hours, do not visit Toy Toon. In instances of illness, our refund and transfer policies still apply.
3.5 With the exception of weaning babies and severe allergies, only food and drink purchased in Toy Toon may be consumed onsite.
3.6 Drugs, alcohol, smoking, and e-cigarettes are prohibited in Toy Toon.
3.7 With the exception of assistance animals, no animals are permitted in Toy Toon.
3.8 Prams, pushchairs, and buggies are not permitted within our café or play area. All of the above must be collapsed and left at the front door. We advise car seats, carriers or slings are used instead.
4. Privacy and Security
4.1 To maintain the privacy of all customers, visitors must only take photos of their own children for personal use.
4.2 Toy Toon will only share photographs of children playing on our website, social media, or promotional materials with prior consent from parents/carers.
4.3 CCTV is in operation throughout Toy Toon.
4.4 Toy Toon accepts no liability for any loss or damage to personal items during your visit. All personal belongings brought to Toy Toon, are entirely at the owners’ risk.
