In Toy Toon we have wee buildings with different play areas that allow children to explore the world in miniature and use their imagination to be whatever they want to be!
Why not pretend to be a hairdresser, greengrocer, postie, chef or florist? There's something for everyone!
Our coffee shop offers a range of cakes, lunches and children's meals which can be adapted for allergies.
Colin our cake fridge always has a selection of dairy free, gluten free and vegan cakes to choose from.
Want a treat to take home? Let us know and we'll have a piece wrapped up ready to go at the end of your session!
Please reach us at toytoonelgin@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Toy Toon is recommended for children aged 1-10 years. We have many older children who come with younger siblings and are surprised how much they enjoy our toon!
Each session runs for 90 minutes. We unlock the door 10 minutes before the end of the session to allow our guests to leave when they are ready. We then spend 30 minutes cleaning and resetting the toon to allow our next session to experience Toy Toon at it's best. We appreciate it if guests can leave in a timely manner to allow us to do this.
Yes, Toy Toon is mainly by booking only. Sessions can be booked by clicking on the "Book Now" buttons throughout our site.
Feel free to message us on Facebook or Instagram to see if we have any walk-in slots available. Please, if you walk up, do not be offended if we are unable to accommodate you.
Purely to keep your wee ones safe. We lock the door to ensure adults can relax knowing that their children will remain in the building.
If you need to nip out or head off early, it's not a problem. Please let a member of staff know so we can lock the door again and ensure the safety of our smaller guests.
Yes we can! There are many items on our menu which are available as gluten free, dairy free or vegan options (look out for the wee symbols on the menu). Colin the cake fridge has a selection of allergy friendly cakes. Please just ask a member of staff to point out what is available to fit your dietary requirements.
Unfortunately, we have very little room for buggies, prams or pushchairs. Upon arrival, you will be asked to fold them down so they can be stored away from our play area. We do not allow them at tables to ensure our floor is kept as free from dirt as possible (we have lots of crawling children who may put objects in their mouth).
As mentioned above, we try to keep our floor as clear of debris as we can. Our smaller visitors quite often put objects in their mouths so we really don't want them eating mud (or worse). We also do not have time to mop between sessions, so the removal of shoes is a big help. Feel free to bring along your slippers or alternatively, borrow some baffies from our basket located on the bench in the shoe area.
